Senior Activity Center (SAC)

SAC provides a place to congregate for seniors seeking group activities, informational seminars, socialization, and a place to enjoy a homemade, low-cost meal. The meals are prepared at the Friendship Cafe', truly the heart of the center.

The Cambridge Senior Activity Center is conveniently located in City Center Mall, next to the City of Cambridge offices. The Friendship Cafe' is located on the mall front, with the activity center behind it.

Transportation for Seniors

It can be difficult to know when it's time to stop driving as we age. Vision impairments and reaction time, alongside night blindness begin to propose safety hazards for everyone on the road. Cambridge is a Dementia Friendly community and is part of a network of ACT on Alzheimer's. The Cambridge  ACT was formed in 2013 and offers numerous articles, support groups and events for those with Alzheimer's and those who care for them.
