The Cambridge Community Garden is a project of the Isanti County Master Gardeners (ICMG) with daily operations by the Board of Gardeners. The Garden is open to the public and is located at 1700 East Rum River Drive South (near 18th Ave SW & East Rum River Drive S).

The plots will be open on May 1st, weather dependent. Water for the garden is provided. Tools are available, along with supplies to clean them after use. There is an eight-foot-high fence surrounding the garden to protect plants from deer browsing.

Garden Fees - Seasonal Rental Costs

Plots are $15 per 100+ square feet. 3' x 12'. Raised beds are available for $20 and intended for individuals who have a difficult time gardening at ground level. Gardeners can rent one raised bed per household, up to 3 plots total.  Fees cover the annual operating expenses.

Rules

• Keep Garden gates closed.
• Water, weeding, harvesting & upkeep of plots are your responsibility.
• Equipment is available in the shed, please clean tools & return when you're done.
• Use of herbicides is prohibited.

Wheelchair Access Improved

There is a wheelchair access to the Community Garden at the southwest corner of the fenced in garden area. It is close to the raised bed gardening area.

Gardening Books Available

 During the gardening season, there is a small lending library with gardening books available for check out.
