The City of Cambridge has many local parks and green spaces throughout our community. The Adopt-A-Park program is a fun, educational program that is a great opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, organizations, church groups, youth clubs, schools, and more to be involved and contribute to their community and help maintain our beautiful parks and green space.

Those adopting parks will be recognized below and on our social media platforms.

We would love if you would share some photos of your experience for our Social Media platforms and /or website!

Volunteer opportunities can vary depending on the park that is adopted but may include:

  • Picking up litter and other debris in your chosen park, including boundaries and perimeters, such as fence lines, field edges and tree lines
  • Remove sticks and small branches in mowing areas, especially after storms
  • Upkeep of weeding in flower beds, around signs, in playgrounds, and around any basketball or tennis courts
  • Rake mulch under swings
  • Remove or report graffiti to city staff
  • Update the City Staff of any vandalism, damage or other potential safety concerns needing attention
  • Planting and watering flowers in pre-approved areas
  • Other pre-approved projects that would benefit or beautify the adopted park

If interested in this program fill out the registration form, group registration form, any necessary parental waivers.

Bring these forms with you to City Hall when you gather your supplies, or they can be emailed to info@ci.cambridge.mn.us. The forms must be signed and turned in before starting any activity.

If you have any questions email info@ci.cambridge.mn.us, call us at 763-689-3211, or visit us at City Hall.
