Snowman and Snow-Sculpture Contest 

Submission Date Range: January 1 – February 23, 2024 by 4 pm

Categories: Best Traditional Snowman, Most Creative, Best Business, and Overall Favorite

Vote for your favorite submission at the Winter Festival! Winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m. on February 24, 2024
During the festival, you may vote for your favorite snowman or snow-sculpture in each category from 12-4 pm. You don't need to be present to win, but if you are we will present your trophy and prizes in person!

How to Submit your Snowman or Snow-Sculpture:

You can submit your entries in person at the City Hall 300 3rd Ave. NE

Or submit via email at info@ci.cambridge.mn.us

Be sure to include a photo, category of your submission, your address (to verify residency)
and a phone number (so we can contact you if you win!)

During the festival, you may vote for your favorite snowman or snow-sculpture in each category from 12-4 pm. You don't need to be present to win, but if you are we will present your trophy and prizes in person!

 Snowman and Snow Sculpture rules:

1. Entries must include a street address to validate residency and a phone number to contact you if you win.
2. Entries must be built within city limits; in a residential yard, property, or at one of our 16 city parks.
3. Each entrant must build their snowman between January 1-February 23, 2024.
4. All entries must be appropriate for public display.
5. Teams/individuals may use accessories to add to their snowman. Entrants are encouraged to add their own creative touches that will make their snowman unique. Remember, it doesn’t need to be a traditional snowman. Get Creative and build an animal, a sculpture, your favorite movie character, etc.,
6. By submitting an entry, contestants grant the City of Cambridge permission and authority to use your pictures in any reasonable advertising or promotional activities.
7. One submission per category. One trophy/prize awarded per category.

Winter Fest

February 24 from 12:00-5:00 pm
Central Green Park located at 
1450 East Rum River Drive

Bring your ice skates and skate on one of our ice rinks, a community bon fire, make some s'mores, and enjoy music! There are two warming houses at Central Green Park, so if you can warm up as you need. There will be vendors and food trucks and other special events!

Dog sled rides return this year!

New this year will be horse-drawn carriage rides!
