Canoe or Kayak Clean Up!

Saturday, September 14 from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Join Friends of the Rum River for the 13th Annual "Fun in the Rain or Sun" Cleaning up 8 miles of the Rum!

Put in at 9:30 am at the Co. Rd. 14 Public Access by The Oxbow Bridge (3 miles North of HWY 95) Travel 8 miles downstream to Cambridge West Public Access.

Free shuttle service for folks with canoes/kayaks is provided until 4:00 pm.

Participants will be assigned a section of the 8 mile stretch to pick up, then are free to paddle at leisure to take-out. Great scenery and wildlife photo opportunities!

Bring your own canoe, kayak or other water worthy device, plus life jackets. Trash bags and gloves provided at launch. Bottles of water and snacks provided at the site, but please pack a lunch.
