Welcome to Cambridge's Official Government Website

It's been one rough Winter and it seems Spring is upon us with a vengeance! With the sudden rainfall atop the enormous piles of snow, flooding is a BIG concern. Public Works is out working hard to clear ice-packed catch basins and Public Safety is out there assisting those with homes facing basement floods.

What can you as residents do? Make sure to leave space for crews doing their jobs to prevent flooding, many areas do not allow much room to maneuver large machinery and your patience and cooperation is much appreciated!

To help prevent flooding in your home, shovel snow away from the foundation and create valleys for water to run away from your home. This is the cheapest solution to keeping your home safe.
